I am trying to make a blow torch effect shooting sideways in fluids.  I can’t figure out how to emit the fire in any direction other than up.  This will be a short burst to the side and then the flame will rise up normally.

Any help is appreciated.

sorry for my english .
1. you can use external forces like air and animate internal conteiner gravity and others attributes
2. you can use two fluids container, first one rotated in 90 deg for first stage of the fire and second in normal orientation for second stage of the fire and mix results in postproduction
3. you can animate rotation of fluids container
4. you can combine all above methods.
5. ye.... you can use somethig else....
