I am doing some tests trying to make a cube react like water so if I move a sphere through it, it would have ripples generated from the area the sphere touches the cube.

I figure I could do an nCloth sim to achieve this but i was also thinking about the pond effect. It is built for this effect. Could I make a cube object the pond?

If so how would I go about it?
