Hi there, I need to get a piece of geometry to disintegrate while getting smaller over time but maintaining the overall shape as it gets smaller, I also need it to look like tiny bits are braking off as it does this.

I’m hoping there a way to do this with Nparticles and an instancer e.g. filling the geometry with Nparticles and having the geometry hold them in place, as I scale the geometry down the particles that are no longer inside the geometry are released and fly off. Otherwise is there an efficient shatter script that will brake the object into a few thousand pieces without crashing my system.

I have tried this with the object emitting particles from its surface but I can’t get it to look right :(

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Thanks
