Hi to everyone in The Area!!!!!!

Im new here in this section of the portal, so if i made a mistake dont get mad ok? :)jejeje

Ok, lets get in matter.

Im trying to create a Nuclear explosion, so i was working with fluids the part of the simulation using a 2d container, but i want to create that with particle dynamics, so my question is:

Do somebody knows how to drive particles using fluids to make that those particles act like the fluid inside the container and folow the mushroom cloud shape?

i’ve read in some place that this can be done using the fluid as a field, but when i connect the fluid and the particles(afect selected), Maya doesn’t returns any error, and when y play the simulation, the particles dosen’t act like the fluid.

what can i do?, somebody can help me please?

Thanks

PS. by the way, im not an english native speaker, so sorry for the bad english.

This is explained in the documentation

User Guide > Dynamics and Effects > Fluid Effects > Object interaction with dynamic fluids > Move particles with the force of a fluid
