Please help. I have spent a full week pulling my hair out.

I am trying to communicate one substance (sodium) diluting into another substance (serum). The colors are important, I am trying to use the color to show the level of concentration.

My fluids are turning grey and I can’t figure out why. When I turn on numeric display for density, the grey areas are less than one, but I don’t understand how to keep them more dense (if that is the issue at all).

Thank you for any help you can provide, I’m stuck.
Shamus
