How to create a water surface like Max's reactor tool?

I have been using 3ds max and i just changed to maya and i am trying to get a water like surface that i can interact with like the reactor tool in 3ds max. how can i do this in maya?

I haven’t used reactor in Max but from what I can see you will want to use a Pond under Dynamics>Fluid Effects>Pond. For a larger Ocean look, you would use Ocean right above Pond in the same menu.
