Does anyone have any ideas of how to create particle trail that emits animated particles that look like musical notes. I assume I would have to create several png images of music notes but how would I get these to be released as a particle trail? Any ideas anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Guess you solved something by now…
in case not…
Save the various images as sequential frames (notes.####.png) , use the nParticle sprite Wizard to assign different frame numbers to different particles...Probably via randomised Id, if I remember correctly…
Wang your emitter around leaving trail.
