Hey all,

I’ve started playing around with an effect to turn a man into a puddle, similar to that of the T-1000. So i don’t want him to burst into fluids and splash on the ground, rather, I want him to sort of melt into a puddle. I recently upgraded to Maya 2009, and was trying out nParticles, but I don’t think they are suitable for what I want to do. I have also tried using nCloth and the various presets to have him form into a puddle, but I’m not getting the results I desire, as when he has completely collapsed to the ground, you can still tell it was a person, and he doesn’t “mesh” together.

Any suggests would be greatly appreciated, though I would prefer not to go the realflow route, unless absoutly neccesary.

Thank you,

Daniel.
