Hi, I have a odd shaped smooth bubble that is deforming like a soap bubble floating in the air. This bubble is my goal object. I have an omni emitter emitting a lot arrows (instanced geometry) that I want resting on the bubbles surface pointing in the direction of the bubble’s surface normal. How would I do this? I am well versed in using the particle velocity to drive the aim direction of the instance geo, but it won’t work in this case. I would love some help on this.

Thanks
AF.

I was looking for help on the same issue...I found this.
Haven’t tried it yet, but it seems to do the trick.

CGTalk Particle Instance Direction

Good luck
