| Particle instance replace, problem in render
|
|
|
Hello everyone,
My problem is this: In my view port everything works well but when I render whith batch render, this it no longer happens. I tried to create a system LOD (Level of detail) for my particles.
1 - the objects are switching correctly with their respective textures
2 - when a rendering by batch render, the objects switch but not the textures
I do not understand what is happening, because the texture that appears in the render is always the first texture that appears in the first frame, after that the obejcto switch but not with the associated texture
Can anyone help me? Anyone know why this happens? I would greatly appreciate the help.

hello again
Nobody has a suggestion? I really need help, Please. I do not know if I explained myself well, or is this the place to ask this question. I am rendering in mental ray. Any suggestion will be useful.

Dont quite understand what the problem is entirely.. do you have multiple objects you are instancing or one object with different textures? could you post a picture?
My only observation is that there are certain restrictions you need to adheer to when using the instancer i.e. to my knowledge you cant change the texture/material on an instance on a PP basis.
(The only workaround is to have multiple source objects with different textures assigned and then assign them randomly to your particles. Is this what your doing?)
Have you tried caching the particles and its corresponding attributes out before rendering? Just a thought. :-)

My problem was don’t have create the cache for my particles. It works perfectly, but now the texture of the object is only updated after a few frames, but that is not a problem now.
I have three objects a low, med, hight --- That is only one entity. Imagine that I keep these entities in a matrix [j], where “i” is the entity, and “j” will have the Low, med and hight. this works fine. (the red is the low, the green is the medium, and the other is the hight,I did that, to understand if this work properly)
I want to do something else, I want hide the particles that are not in the view angle of the camera. Do you have any suggestion for this?
thanks for answering
