I have a basic model of a site where I am trying to simulate wind currents. I have a bunch of particles that I am trying to move with the wind simulation. These particles are supposed to react to the wind and the site model (collide). I am trying to determine the point where these particles end up.
At the same time, I also have a script which supposedly traces, with a curve, the trajectory of the particles, after they have been moved by the wind and through the model.
Since I am very new to Maya I am unable to make the wind fluid react with my model, or make the particles “flow” through the model. Also, I have no clue as to how to use this script so as to trace the particle trajectory.
I am more than happy to upload the model and script for anyone to help me.
I attached a jpeg so you can see what is it exactly I am trying to achieve.
Any help or suggestions?
Thanks!
