RESOURCES in Maya: I have a Motion Path version and a Curve Flow version.

1st Problem:
1. When I add the per particle attribute color to the Curve Flow particle, the particle color seems to be attached to the curve, not the particle.  So now, the lifespan is affected by the curve.

Real spark’s color start hot (white/yello) and end cool (orange/red).  But the Curve Flow Flow is making All the particles start hot at the beginning of the curve, and then cool at the end of the curve!  Not what I was expecting.

The Per Particle Color is affected by the curve now.
Not what I was expecting.

Trying to get the curve flow like this

NOTE: If this can be done in Blender (I talked to the artist), then this can be done in Maya--but I hope, automated with Curve Flow.
