hi guys,
I am having some problem with the rotation of my instanced geometry,I want it to align with the surface normals of the emitted surface.

Lets say I want to show that some coins(currency) are been emitted and falling from a sphere,so I want the rotation to align with the sphere and then the coins should rotate or spin in their own axis and fall.

Hope I have made myself clear on this. Please let me know your suggestion on this.

Thanks in advance,
Karan

go to the particles attr editor.open ‘instancer’ tab. under ‘rotation’ options, change ‘rotation type’ to ‘MASS’, ‘aim direction’ to ‘velocity’ and ‘aim axis’ to ‘acceleration’. hope this solves some of your problems.play around with these attributes to get various results.i think this may help you.....
all the best......
