Hey all.

I am working on an nCloth shot for feature film (Unlimited 2008). I have a simulation which has already been approved, apart from the need to slow it down 4x. The trouble is, as soon as I set the subsampling lower than 1 in the nCache settings then the simulation goes to hell.

I can’t stretch the existing 1x cache because the interpolation presents as visible stepping at that speed.

I’ve tried various methods of achieving the subsampled frames (scaling the time of the simulation 4x longer, changing the playback rate of the timeline etc), however I still get crazy results with them all.

The nCloth documentation intimates that subsampling a sim should be as easy as the nCache settings.

Any help would be appreciated.

cheers
