Hello,

I’m having troubles to run Maya 2011, after installing it, i get this error of licensing. I’ve attached a pic with the error on this post so people can see what it is, and try to help me out.

I don’t know if I’m the only one with it,… but hopefully someone already knows what to do.

How can I solve it??

(I’m using Windows7 x64 by the way)

i got this same error, Error 20 means License Ckeckout failed, i’m trying to find a work around, You usually get this error when you change hardware (i.e. Mother board, hard drive, etc) Make sure All your files are uninstalled then re-enstall i use a 3rd party uninstaller like “ your Uninstaller Pro” Etc

Did any of you try renaming these files:

C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdLM\ProductInformation.pit
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data
C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet\adskflex_00691b00_tsf.data_backup.001

and then un- and reinstall Maya?

Error 19 means “The license checkout was cancelled by the user (????), by the way if you go to flolder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\AdLM , And open the file “AdlmErrorCodes.xml in dreamweaver, etc, it will tell you what the codes are that you receive

I was getting this reply on the computer I was attempting to install 2011 trial on.

The problem might be your PATH setup.

As I was working on 2009 and had all my PATHs and ENV variables set up for 2009, that was the place Maya was looking in first.  It’ll never find the license.env file or any adlm files.

Changing the system path to c:\programfiles\autodesk\2011 fixed things for me.
