i installed Maya 2012 le a couple weeks back.  when i press Alt+mmb to move my camera around for some reason my camera just continually moves forward.  it also happens when i press mmb alone.  i thought it was my mouse but the problem persists no matter what mouse i am using.  i never had this issue with earlier versions of maya, and i cant find anything about this issue online.  please advise.

its probably due to your mouse setup, not maya.

Edit the left and right scroll functions on it, you should find it fixes your issue.

(lol answered this question two weeks ago but im also not able to find it..)
ok maybe it has something to do with the left/right scroll functions (can not try this because every mouse i have at home or office offers this!) but it was never a problem before v2012. my preferred fix for this is to go to window - setting/preferences - interface and disable “ mouse scroll wheel”. the fact that i never used the scroll wheel in maya doesnt make this a pain for me!

did you install maya 2012 sp2 ?
