Hello Everyone.
I’m experiencing some problems with maya ple and windows vista. With Xp everything works fine, but when i launch the program in windows Vista there comes the trouble. The window that Says “this version of mental rey is restricted etc...” doesn’t appear at the startup, and MR doesn’t appear in the rendering options. Plus, It seems i can’t install the bonus tools on the laptop with vista, because as soon as i allow the acces on the UAC panel installation crashes saying “The installation was canceled etc...”.
Anyone experiencing similar problems?

I don’t know about vista but usually you can turn MR on in Window>settings/preferences>plug-inn manager and then check mayatomr.mll loaded and auto load boxes.
As far as UAC try disabling it in CP or services.
