Are there any risks to buying a used copy of Maya online? I’ve never bought one of Autodesk’s products before, do the products bind to a specific account permanently when first bought? If so, would I have to use the seller’s account to use it? And finally, are there any problems about using the preowned Maya for an Indie company and use it for games to be sold?

I believe it is still Autodesk’s stance that they do not allow the transfer of licenses (they don’t allow the sale of ‘used’ copies)…
I’d contact them to be sure though.
