I’m new to this forum, but I’ve been using Maya and Mudbox a lot lately and, since I couldn’t import my nw retopo’d mesh as a layer in Mudbox, I decided to do the normal map baking in Maya. It worked, but this happened.
Any advice and help would be appreciated and and help from my problem with the Mudbox vertex ID would be well received.

From the image, it looks like a normals problem on the low res mesh. But it could be caused by a number of things. Do you mind to ZIP and upload the Maya scene that you used for the baking?
