Hi folks, I’ve been trying to find out this age old question for a while now:
Is it possible to bake Maya’s Physical Sun and Sky to a texture using Batch Bake?
I’ve seen posts online claiming how to do it, but none seen to address the following issue.

Here’s the problem…

After you set up Sun and sky and try and bake your lighting setup, the texture will come out something like this:

...This is because for some reason, Batch Bake ignores the Expore node (mia_exposure_simple1) which is pluged into the rendering camera as shown here:

I believe that the exposure node being neglected is the heart of the problem because without it plugged into the camera Maya renders out the same as what Batch Bake is doing, as shown here in this frame render:

So my ultimate question is:
Is it possible to include the Exposure node when baking out a texture?

many thanks in advance to those who may have some advice towards this.

Kind regards,
Michael

Any info. about this issue?  I’m also hoping to bake the lighting with the MR Physical Sun and Sky.  Thanks for any help!
