hi...I have my UVs mapped well for a poly surface model ,there is no overlapping. On some faces of the surface, when I set baldness to 1 ,the fur grows on both sides of the faces.Generally its said that when there is inward growth ,reverse fur normals should be done so that fur is visible on the opposite side, but that doesn’t work for particular faces right? It just works for entire polygonal surface.
The crux of my problem is fur growing on both sides of the face.

So I want to get the fur grown inwardly removed and retain the one upfront.Kindly somebody suggest.

It’s entirely possibly you have some faces facing inward, and some facing outward.
Try turning on face normals and seeing what you have going on by clicking: Diplay->polygons->face normals.

If you do have mixed normals, you should be able to fix it with: Normals->Conform.
If not, report back. Screenshots (or a sample file) may also be helpful here.
