Aloha from Maui

I am having a problem with an imported charactor.  The eyelashes don’t show up.
The eyelashes are part of the imported charactor, but can not be seen, because they are transparent.

The solution is to go to the, alpha channel of the TGA and set as an opacity map”.

I am just learning and I do not know how to do this.  Can someone please, explain the step by step way of how to get to the alpha channel?

I have not been able to find any information in my manual or online.

Assuming your .tga file has an alpha channel - you can open up the hypershade and shift+drop your file node onto your material node - which will open the connection editor. Connect your alpha to the transparency.
