Identifying used materials in the hypershader?

In 3ds, when an object is selected, in the material editor, the material assigned to the object is indicated by small triangles in the corners. Is there a similar thing in the hypershader? I basically want quickly indentify the currently selected object’s material so I edit it.



3DS Max 6 to 2009, Maya 2010

select the object… klick on the blue/green icon in the hypershade…

You can also Graph - > Graph Material On Selected Object.
