Hi,

I’m fairly new to baking textures in Maya. I am having trouble applying the baked textures to my objects. Can anyone help? Has anyone else had this problem? I have attached a picture of what the object looks like when I apply the new texture I’ve baked.

Have you UVed your object yet?

Yes. I have UVed it several times on multiple objects and the result is the same. However, the bake file is correct and it looks correct in the texture editor. Its only on the object that it looks wrong. I’m confused and do not know what is wrong. I’m sure it’s something simple that I’m overlooking.
