Atm i’m making a kitchen in Maya2012 but i’m having some issues about how to make a realistic glass material i’ve tryed with Mia_x but i had some really hard time by making it a bit transparency, but then i did use a lambert and that did make it transparency easy but not the best output as a realistic color.

Any sugestions about what i could use? :)

Thanks

Have you tried one of the glass presets within the mia mateiral?  Can you post some images that show the problem?

3ds Max 2013, Maya 2013
Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit
Core i7, 12GB RAM
Nvidia Quadro FX 3700 (Driver 267.17)

Not really. But I will, and i just try to post some pics. But I haven’t dont any specific modeling on my microwave yet. So will just be a box with that material I tryed atm. But i want it to be a trans glass material so you can see into the microwave and see the details in it. :)

Thank for the quick reply :)
