Hey everyone,
I have been using maya for about the past 3 months here and there, I am no where near the level of many of you, and I greatly appreciate the help!
Here’s my situation…

I am looking to create an icy texture but I don’t want it super flat and reflective, I want there to be a few light “bumps” in the texture. I followed a tutorial (follow the link below) and I think it gave me a fairly good start on my experiement.

Also,I will attach a jpg of what I have. But basically I want it to be somewhat see through. I am not going for uber realism or anything of that magnitude, but a simple broadcast type feel maybe?? Thanks in advance for the help!

I believe there’s a couple different ice shaders over at http://www.creativecrash.com/ (used to be HighEnd3D) that should get you off to a good start.
