I’ve been working on a terrain tutorial for a while now and I keep running into this weird texture problem. For some reason whenever I apply a “layered texture” to a lambert, the object suddenly appears clear with white and black lines streaking across it as seen here. Is there any way I can get the texture itself to show up again and get rid of those lines?

Not sure what ‘streaks’ your referring to - and you talking about the display grid?
As for the see-thru terrain - looks like you’ve got transparency mapped in your shader.
