Hi everybody i bought the wonderful tutorial of Autodesk® Maya® Techniques | Animator Friendly .
But i have a problem for run the scripts ... i did this (both on windows and mac )

Put the script on the right folder
and try to load the shelf ...
result is :error cannot find procedure

I tried to use single script i opene the script and there are instructions that say :"for do that use this procedure “
ok i sourced the script and also run it on the script editor and used the right procedure
result is : noting exaclty i don’t have errors but nothing happened neither ...

how can i fix my problems?
plese help

hey Giordi,
If ur pasting the procedure in the script editor, it doesn’t run. All it does is it tells maya that this procedure can me used from now on. So if u type the name of the proc in the command line, u ‘ll get the result.

If ur having problems loading the scripts. U can save the proc u pasted in the editor to the default directory by clicking file save.

I hope that helps. I m a newbie too at MEL but the help documentation is incredibly helpful. Read it all.

the command line and script editor are the same things , only the command line if faster than open the script etc…
but i tried like u said ... no way… the result it s always the same , i also wrote at the autor of the script i hope in an answer!
