Hi, I’m fairly new to Maya and was following some tutorials explaining the MEL command line. In the tutorials they said that to jump back to the viewport after typing a command use the Alpha enter on keyboard, but if you want to retain focus use the numeric keypad enter. My numeric keypad enter won’t retain focus it jumps back to the viewport as well. I’m working with the default settings and using Maya 2011 64bit PC version. Any suggestions or settings I need to change? The documentation says the same thing as well, numeric enter for retaining focus.
