Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone could help me out. But let me start from the beggining.

When I model an object, I usually model one side of the object and once I am happy, then mirror it across, using the duplicate special to mirror it to the other side.

Now What I would like to do, so speed up my modeling it so have scripts that do this, but on either just the x or y or z channel, and also to do the same, but as an instance so i can see the changes I do mirrored.

I tried doing it the cheap and easy way, but going through the process, and then coping the mel from the script editor to my shelf. It works sort of, but then it either 2 duplicates of the duplicated side, or makes a duplicate andf then duplicated the original in the same place.

Can anyone help or point me in the right direction?

Thanks

[Polygons] Proxy->Subdiv Proxy and [Polygons] Proxy->Remove Subdiv Proxy Mirror don’t do the job then?
