These feels like it should be easy, but I can’t seem to figure it out.

How do I reload all references within a scene using Mel?

I can not figure for the life of me how to get the list of all the references in the scene (file -q -l (and -r) seem to give me the path and filename for everything in the scene (including the scenes path/filename), but that isn’t usable when combined with ...

file -lr $refFilenName;

I realize I might need a for statement to load each reference seperately (maybe, maybe not), but right now, I can’t even figure out how to querry the information I need (IE, all the references in the scene). any help would be appreciated.

PS, if it makes a difference, I’m using Maya 2008.

Thanks in advance
