View Port refresh for real time model control?

hey guys,
I m writing a basic I/0 file script to import transformation data from another app. The problem is the model only refreshes its attribute values when the script ends and all the values read in between our wasted. I need a method to refresh the viewport or attribute values as the script is running ( while loop ). I’m using an exoskeleton for motion capture and I want the model to react in real time instead of having to write a script to set keys. Any help is appreciated. Nick
