Hi all - sorry if this is in the wrong area, but I’m looking for a tutorial that would show how to create some realistic architectural scenes - Specifically I am looking to design a 14th century village.

Thank you very much.

Hi and welcome to the Area forums.

The question is a bit too broad…

Is there a particular area you’re having trouble with? The modeling? Shaders? Rendering?
Most likely, your not going to find a tutorial that will walk you thru all of these aspects. I’d recommend tackling one area at a time, asking ‘specific’ questions as you go along.

Having good reference photos can also help enormously in your endeavor.

I’m having issues with the modeling - I’m looking at ways to make stone structures and make it look like individual bricks that are not perfect- I guess I could just stack on a lot of cubes and rotate the way they lay a bit each time, but I was just wondering if there would be a better way to do something like this.

Being new at modeling, I was hoping there was a tutorial for this type of modeling out there - I could use all the help I could get. :)

I have done a basic model, trying to come across as a non uniform archway (Stone archway which has been eroded) Will taking this approach work? I have never done any sort of texturing or rendering (I’m about to go look that up now) But was just curious if this modeling would work?

Am I missing something very obvious, or making some sort of horrid mistake that is going to come bite me shortly? :)
