Hello everybody!

trying to get my head around constructing objects using live construction plane…
1. i create construction plane - move it in space, rotate it.
2. make it live
3. create simple box on new live construction plane - the box is on the live plane, but its rotation does not follow the rotation specified for the construction plane.

im using Maya 2011 SP1

please, check the attachment/image to see what i mean:

cplanebug.jpg

how can i make this behave correctly? or is this a bug?

cheers,
chris

maybe thats the rotation order thing?

figured a couple solutions: script SnapToLast (on non-live construction plane), snap 2points to 2points, matching world rotation values… but cannot believe it has to be done like that, has to be easier!
:D
anybody?

cheers,
chris
