Hello:

I’m in the process of getting the hang of nodes and hierarchy so this might be an easy question. When I select Faces in an object and then either Duplicate Faces or Detach Component so that I can make a new object from them, the new faces still seem to be under the original and I can’t find the node in the outliner to take it out of the group.

Can someone point me to another way to do this or what I am doing wrong here?

Thanks in advance,

Justin

hi there,
i dont know ,if i ve understood well your question, but in anyway there s always a (history)controlling the object behaving ,in this case ,you should delete history by type(edit, delete by type,,,,history)
