having problem with "extract face" after upgrading intel i7 and 6 g of ram

Hi Everyone, hoping someone can help me fix this extracting problem. i just build intel i7 core, 6 g of ram. i run xp 64 bits, try to use my 8.0 but got this problem, so i download the 2010 trail hoping it would work, but getting the same problem. when i try to extract face, the face move in but the side are not there. does anybody know what could be the problem. here screen shot of it.
any help be very appericate. thanks

see no screenshot!!

but maybe you use the EXTRUDE not the EXTRACT command. sounds for me that´s what you want.

Hi seb9d, your right, just try it. thanks i was frustrated . rebuilding the system had some problem and then that happen. not sure why the screenshot didnt show, but attach it, anyway thanks for your help

When posting screenshots - don’t click the ‘add attachement’ button after selecting your file.
