How to edit anchor points/tangets of (individual) curve CVs?

This is one of those idiotic questions that are probably totally obvious, but I googled a few minutes now and somehow I am unable to find the proper help. Even in the Autodesk help I don’t find it.

After I attached two curves the point where they connect is completely sharp, without any smoothness. Now I know that the smoothness of the CVs is controlled by these control tangents. But I don’t know how to edit/manipulate them. But it has to be possible somehow.
Even the modify curves and bezier curves tools do not work.

I am grateful for any reply.
