i can't drag, move or model an object

hi everyone, i am new in the world of maya, yesterday i install the pogram, but a problem with the mouse i can’t move, escale, rotate or modeling an objet. i can draw an object but when i want to move that object or modeling, it’s seem that the left doesnt work.

Have you completed the Tutorials in the Maya Help?

yes, but nothing happen i still move, rotate, esclae or transform an object

Select an object, in object select mode,
Select | Object/Component toggles.
F8 also toggles,

Hit the W key for the Move tool.
You should see the Move tool icon in the center of the object.
The -+ hot keys scale the icon size ...it might be very small.
E and R hot keys for rotate and scale.
If you installed the app. yesterday then you will need to spend more time with the tutorials, they are extensive.
