Whith Maya 2010 I am finding that after a while the Insert Edge Tool doesn’t slide over the mesh but instead snaps to a possition.(Ihave the tool set to equal distance from edge so it should slide freely).I then have to use the slide edge tool to reposition the edge loop.This really slows things down.Does anyone else experience this? seems like a bug.I don’t remember this back with Maya 2008 my last version.

I have xp 64 bit on an HP workstation with Nvidia FX 3800 Quadro Graphics card.
