I need help with loading a model onto maya. I have downloaded ma and mb files but they end up as rar or zip files. Someone please help

Extract them! there compressed

rar and zip are like locked folders to conserve on memory and other things But get a decompresser like 7zip and extract them the files are inside

you can use windows explorer to extract zip files but not rar files
