Hello guys,

I am having some problems with the selection on Maya. (I´m sorry for my bad english and I hope you can understand).

What is happening is simple, but I can’t solve it.

First I do a box on the grid.
After I put some subdivisions on it.

So I want to select a Vertex (only one) and I want to move it in a different place with the Move Tool.

The problem is that when I select a Vertex and try to move it around, the program doesn’t do that only with the Vertex that I’ve selected. It does with the entire object, that means that It selects all the Vertexes of the object, and it does all the time no matter if I want to select and move a Vertex or an Edge or a Face.

What it could be?

Please help me because I need to solve this as soon as possible.

Thanks a lot for your attention.
