Hi,

There used to be a link to previous Maya versions demonstration but it is just too bad they had this idea of removing it…

I am looking for the name of that feature which allows one to make changes on a model and have the change automatically updated on all blendshapes. Can you help me with that?

Thanks a lot

The action you are looking for is [Bake Topology to Targets] found under EDIT DEFORMERS - BLEND SHAPE

Check out Maya help on this topic for the list of limitations for the action.
In addition to the limitations that are listed, I have found it only works for changes that add an Input Node on the Base Shape.
If you have just moved some verts or edges then, in my experience, it won’t work.

All the best.
