I’m not sure where the right place to ask this is, because I do not know the cause.

In short, my axis manipulator UCS whatever has rotated 45 degrees. When I select any object, even one I just created, and switch to the move tool, the “up” Y axis is tilted 45 degrees to the left, and the X axis is rotated 45 degrees “up”. Same thing with selecting points and verticies.

I’ve tried shutting down and restarting the program.
I’ve tried rebooting.

What happened?
How do I fix it?
How do I stop it from happening again?

Help?

BTW: Maya 2011, if it matters.

Have you tried resetting your Move Tool settings?  If you select the Move tool and look in the tool window, there should be a reset button (near the top).
