Hey Maya lovers!

I am new to modelling in Maya. But I have been modelling in other softwares such as XSI and Modo. This is an example of simple beveling done in Modo:

To achieve a similar result in XSI, I use the Push Deformer.

But in Maya, I have a hard time doing it. If I try with the extrude tool, the result is not even nearly as neat. So what should I do to get exactly this result in Maya? Please help!

Thanks in advance!

Can you be more specific on what you mean by ‘not as neat’?
Works fine here…
