If you can’t find 2010 on your subscription downloads page, file a business service request form or a tech service form....don’t wait and torture yourself with trying to guess what is going on...you paid for that service so use it....They may not know of your problems and obviously are not making statements or giving us any info.....

I found 2010 on both of my subscriptions but I can’t activate it as I don’t have the upgrade email they claimed they were going to send.  I put in a ticket for it.. no response yet.

I called the activation line for one of my subscriptions and they claim my 2009 is registered and I’m on subscription but they don’t know why my 2009 serial can’t be upgraded.  Uh?  I’m on subscription! They told me to call my reseller, who then tells me to call back Autodesk this morning if it isn’t fixed.  It’s not fixed, and so the merry-go-round begins.

Mine still does not seem available in my download section… would living in Australia make a difference?

I am being told by autodesk that the date is the 18th....serial numbers should show up in your coverage report on the subscription center site before hand.  And that the 18th is a target date, not cast in stone.

That is good to know.  Thanks.  It is frustrating only that they announced on their own support blog site that the download day was the 10th.  If they can’t make the 10th then don’t say it’s the 10th.  If it is Sept 17th at 2PM Pacific time as long as you are facing the east with an nCloth flag in your hand, well then say that.  It is not like this should be a surprise to anyone inside working at AD.  We all pay significant coinage to be a subscription member.  It is not unreasonable to request that when we are told our update products are to be available on a certain date that they actually be there.  I don’t have anything waiting that I can’t finish without 2010.  Just do what you are going to say you are going to do.  I don’t think that is asking too much.

I purchased Maya Complete 2009 with subscription “before the cutoff” date of 8/15, and should be getting 2010 under that subscription. But I haven’t received anything yet… no email… no updates in my contract manager section.

I talked to the Business Center about a week ago, and they said it is an automated system and may take up to two weeks… I even have the download link to 2010 in the product downloads section of my subscription site area, and have downloaded the software…

Has anyone else who purchased Maya Complete 2009 recently with subscription received their emails/updated serials yet?

Thanks,

jdb

I also bought Maya Complete 2009 before 8/15.  I spoke with my reseller the following Wednesday when I received my DVD of Maya.  They told me I should have received my subscription notification e-mail by now, they called AD on my behalf and were told my subscription was being processed.  I guess they had a lot of new subscribers.

Anyways, by Friday I hadn’t received any e-mail, so I *vented* a little on twitter, and an AD rep replied asking whether she could help.  I e-mailed her my information.  I also contacted AD directly after registering my copy of Maya2009 over last weekend.

By Mon-Tues I got my e-mail notifications and was up and running with Maya2010.

The customer service rep is Angela Simoes.  Her twitter is @ASimoes76

I did deal with about 4 different reps; each wanted to help me and did their best but like they told you it is an automated system.

My advise would be to contact AD through e-mail and be persistent.  They are more than willing to help you.

Thanks, Jose!

As of about 9:00PM this evening, I still had not received an email, but I checked my subscription contract administration page (like I have been doing twice a day every day for the last week!) and there it was: Maya 2010 with new serial number and product key, so I went ahead and installed it with that information…

I am glad to be up and running!
