Could anyone please help me with getting the DMM shelf working.  No buttons appear at all.  This is on OSX 10.6.7

You could try to reload the plugin..
Just toggle the load in the plugin manager on and off and see if that fixes the prob..
If not… maybe the icons are missing.

I tried that… No change.  I have not moved anything so what is the correct file path / location of the shelf items?

Same problem here, seems to be OK on 32-bit Maya, but 64-bit Maya shows an empty DMM shelf. I’ll log this as a bug.

Just make shure u make backup of DMM icons and shelf after first installation..

I copy and replace icons and shelf...and it works..

C:\Users\*****\Documents\maya\2012-x64\prefs\icons\dmm

C:\Users\*****\Documents\maya\2012-x64\prefs\shelves(shelf_DMM)

Just make backup and replace them again when ever icons disappear from DMM shelf…

I am running Maya 2012 x64 on windows vista and all my DMM icons on the DMM shelf are gone.

I did not make a backup of my maya 2012 x64 folder so now what do I do?  Uninstall and reinstall maya!  That seems like a serious bug to me and I am not going to uninstall and reinstall

I can see the damn folder and I can see the damn icons but the dmm.mel in the shelf folder is empty!  Now how the hell does that just happen on its own?

A Fast fix: delete the DMM shelf, close Maya and start it again. Worked fine for me

Go to

C:\Users\Your User Name\Documents\maya\2012-x64\prefs

Delete

windowPrefs.mel & userPrefs.mel
Restart Maya and re-load DMM or Physx (since they both are the shelve spoilers :D)

It worked for me, just that it removes my preferences options I have saved for my workflow.
