This looks great, i just don’t know if we will ever see it in the PLE version of Maya,which some of us still use. Would like to see a free for personal use or a lot of importable content by user’s made available.

Are you a student?  If so, you could get Maya unlimited 2008 for about 370$, and you get to keep it forever.
