Hi, I was wondering if there is a ‘Python way’ to get the texture to update in Maya.
I have a script that generates a poly plane displaying an image sequence as .outcolor, but the only way the textures update is by opening the attribute editor of the texture file.

The image sequence is connected to an attribute and even if I try a AEfileTextureReload in mel, I get a message saying it can’t update it because “it’s locked or connected”.

Any suggestion?

Thanks a lot,
Fede

You mean this in mel: AEfileTextureReloadCmd file1.fileTextureName;
