Hello all

I have a character set-up with blendshapes. I have a good set-up so far but I forgot one shape so I modeled it, when I try to apply it as a blendshape and use parallel I get this error message:

// Error: Connection not made: ‘blendShape4.outputGeometry[0]’ -> ‘parallelBlender.inputTarget[0].inputTargetGroup[15].inputTargetItem[6000].inputGeomTarget’.  Destination attribute must be writable. //

Seems like the existing parallel blender is blocking the connection, not sure how to get around it. A tear down would involve re-doing my sliders and I would like to avoid that.

Any words of advice?

Thanks

While I can’t help you with that error message...I was wondering if you already tried “Add Blend Shape Target”.
Edit Deformers - Blend Shape - Add (Option Box)
This tool is made for just such a case. To add a new target to an existing blend shape node.
Hopefully this does the trick.
