I have this glitch that is occurring on some joints when I make a new joint and try to parent it in to an existing one. if i just start a brand new chain it seems to be fine… Has anyone had this problem before?

Basically it works fine. its just a display issue. the bone doesn’t point in the right direction.

Most of the time joint heirachy’s will display like that if one joint is directly ontop of its parent, im not 100% as to why, but the “arrows” are not the joints, they just signify direct heirachy and not joint orientation. The joint itself is the “sphere”, so as long as that is correct there shouldn’t be a need to worry.

Again this is just from what im assuming from the time i’ve spent rigging.

Can you post the Hypergraph ? If you unparent the joint and parent it again it does the same thing?
